Red-breasted robins have been associated with the arrival of the festive season since the Victorian age, when Christmas cards – delivered by scarlet-jumpered postmen – first came into fashion. This little chap, designed to be hung like a bauble, has been given the Villa Bologna Pottery treatment, with his bright eyes and squiggly scratched wings.
